Biz Op tips for increased impact, influence + income

Hey Reader,

#TipThursday is my new weekly share, which I’ll be sending every - yep, you guessed it - Thursday, right here to your inbox.

Expect tips designed to increase your impact, influence and income, so you and your business can show up in full operational excellence.

Okay, let’s get into it!

Wherever possible, always embed 3rd party tools and apps on your own website. Think of it as building your digital real estate; whenever you add to it, you're increasing its value, so you can make consistent returns on your investment (because let's face it, good websites ain't cheap but neither is your brand).

What that looks like:

Why it matters (impact):

  • The URL (page link) stays the same irrespective of software, so even if you change it, you won’t have to try to remember everywhere that you’ve shared the link - just simply re-embed the scheduler once, and you’re good to go!

Who cares (influence)?

  • The person scheduling time with you gets to experience your brand directly, which is great for brand experience, brand recognition and potential further browsing of your site.

Show me the money (income)!

  • An embedded app - especially if you’re taking payment - increases trust when it’s securely integrated with your own website. Plus, your time is money, so with this method, there’s no need to update links across multiple places, so no additional time spent on admin.

Let me know if you already do this, or plan to adopt it going forward. I'd love to hear from you!

Clients messaged her through WhatsApp, Instagram, SMS, email - even phone calls. There was no automation. No filtering. No buffer. Just her. Always on. Always adjusting and having to apologise when the schedule...

Greetings Reader, Today, I want to share a story. A few weeks ago, I took myself on a solo dinner date to Wahaca. I walked in off the street, ready to relax, eat good food and enjoy a bit of time to myself. But the experience I had? Mate! The first words out of the host’s mouth weren’t “Welcome” - they were “Just so you know, the kitchen closes in five minutes. You’ll need to order quickly!” Then she walked off. Erm… not exactly a vibe. And definitely not welcoming. Still, I decided to stay...
